Resumo
This research aims to problematize and map the pedagogical practices and environmental education projects implemented in the municipality of Viana, Espírito Santo state. Throughout this journey, we conducted environmental education pedagogical practices in a municipal school in the Industrial neighborhood of Viana, committed to a political environmental education. The methodological procedures dialogue with narrative research, school routines, and bibliographic research. Additionally, they involve pedagogical practices with students, fictional narratives, and the knowledge of students, teachers, and local residents. We believe this research can contribute to pedagogical practices committed to subject-centered education, recognizing their affinities with the Formate/Tacoarê River, which serves as a boundary between the municipalities of Cariacica and Viana, both located in Espírito Santo. During this process, a workshop was produced to assist in perceptions about the ecologies of the neighborhood and school routines.
