The author was an important Brazilian thinker who stood out for his studies on modern and contemporary philosophy, and for several critical reflections on themes such as art, creativity, perception, theater, expression, dialectics, among others. His valuable philosophical propositions contribute to a better aesthetic-political and cultural understanding through his role as a public intellectual, teacher and opinion maker. The art of portraiture in Gerd Bornheim performs in two perspectives. At first, it is a study on the origin, trajectory and work of the philosopher with the intention of interpreting and preserving his memory. The deepening of the Bornheimian itinerary will be contrasted, in a second moment, as an analysis of the philosophical and contemporary issues related to the construction of the individual's portrait from the development of subjectivity and alterity in the artistic fields of painting, literature and photography.

Therefore, starting from a qualitative study that focuses on song and the integrated arts, under the theoretical contribution of Freitas (2012), Tatit (2012) and Caznok (2015), among other authors, we investigate the possibilities of dialogues between the Brazilian popular song and other artistic languages, to be developed in the classroom. At first, we develop some reflections on music and its relationship with the Brazilian educational context. Next, we discuss the integrated arts and how the song could be used as a space of confluence between different artistic languages. To conclude, we report the process of construction of didactic proposals where we approach the song in an interarts perspective and also describe the experience of field research in a regular school in the Municipality of Vitória, Espírito Santo. As results achieved in this research, we point out that the song can be configured as a space for interartistic dialogue when its elements of composition and sound aesthetics are evidenced, being able to create new artistic products of this experience.
- ItemA canção e o protesto: do cálice à alegria(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2023-09-26) Ribeiro, Karina dos Santos; Paz, Gaspar Leal; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5152530982132224; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1993914321297514; Salgueiro, Wilberth Claython Ferreira; https://orcid.org/0000000338174738; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4872315380917914; Freitas, Alexandre Siqueira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4616788871589192; Martinelli Filho, Nelson; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9186790476855298; Guimarães, Aissa Afonso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5450445723454857This work analyzes the role of songs as a form of resistance, struggle, and protest, during the period of the Military Dictatorship in Brazil. During this period, which lasted from 1964 to 1985, political repression and cultural censorship were widely used by the military government as means of controlling and suppressing individual and collective freedoms. Songs, in this context, emerged as a powerful form of expression and resistance, allowing artists and composers to convey critical and challenging messages against the dictatorship. These songs functioned as a tool for raising awareness and popular mobilization, helping to keep the flame of resistance, the fight for civil rights and democracy, alive. Throughout the dissertation, some representative songs from this period were selected and analyzed. “Cálice” by Chico Buarque de Hollanda and Gilberto Gil, “Not to say that I didn’t talk about flowers” by Geraldo Vandré, “Despite you” by Chico Buarque and “Alegria, Alegria” by Caetano Veloso, denounced human rights violations committed by the military regime. The dissertation explores the textual, historical, social, and political context in which the songs were created, examines how the restrictions imposed by the dictatorship shaped musical production and how artists found ways to circumvent censorship to convey their messages. In this sense, the importance of songs as a vehicle of resistance and as a way of preserving the collective memory of a dark period in history stands out, as observed, for example, in the theoretical corpus of Caetano Veloso (2020), Wilberth Salgueiro (2015), Marcos Napolitano (2002) and Marilena Chauí (2017). The research results reveal the relevance and lasting impact of songs against the military dictatorship, and how they influenced culture and art in general, helping to shape the cultural landscape that lasts to this day. These songs played a fundamental role in the formation of political consciousness at the time, and still contribute to popular mobilization, to the day-to-day achievement of democracy. Furthermore, they remain important artistic and historical testimonies, conveying the experiences and emotions of those who fought against oppression. They offer a historical and inspiring foundation for contemporary resistance, reminding us that the courage and determination of those who opposed dictatorships in the past can be a source of strength to challenge injustices today.

It is a research based on classical authors on the themes in question, characterized as exploratory, descriptive, explanatory. The methodology used was action research, supported by bibliographic research, participant observation, sensitive listening and field research. Two questionnaires, a diagnostic and an evaluative one, were applied to the group of Art teachers from the Municipality of Serra (ES), after the development of a teacher training program focused on creativity addressing the four languages of Art: Visual Arts, Theater, Dance, Music and also Literature. As required in the scientific methods, the data were analyzed using discourse analysis and content analysis and the conclusions reached are that theories and creative methods are still barely known and that there is interest and space for the development of the theme amongst the teachers from the Municipal Secretary of Serra, Espírito Santo.
