Resumo
The main goal of this work is to conceptualize the Binary Number System, as well as present active methodology strategies, in the form of games, for the enforcement of this content in the basic education’s classroom. This research will be substantiated in literature review of published books and articles, as well as the author’s own teaching experience. Practical applications of the binary numbers in everyday situations will be cast and, by the end of the work, the results of the games’ enforcement in the classroom are going to be presented, as well as an observation of these results.
