This study main goal is the analysis of the affectivity configuration in the relation between children diagnosed with autism and the other children and adults, in a university toy library. The study was based on the historical-cultural psychology, regarding the others’ contributions and the language role related to child development, especially with regards to affectivity, as well as the pedagogical mediation. The methodology used was inspired on a study-case and used as empirical material collection procedures the participant observation, interviews and documents review. The analysis axles used as reference the events that most affected the children, creating an approach of the situations that used to cause some contentment and discontentment manifestation in the children. Therefore, concerning the discontentment manifestation two aspects were mentioned: the sharing of toys with other children and/or adults, and situations when their wishes were not properly and rapidly responded. The contentment manifestations are presented before the playful activities involving music, compliments received in the presence of the toy librarian named Helena, taking the affection with her into consideration.
