Resumo
This work aims to evaluate the participation of ships in the port region of Metropolitan Region of Greater Vitória (RMGV), where many works focus on the permissions of important sources present due to the proximity of large companies and the urban sector. The application of simplified methodologies, medium data and poor precision may underestimate the participation of these sources in regions with close proximity to ports. In addition, the lack of Brazilian legislation that requires ship control equipment that makes contributions even greater, as it involves numerous movements of large international ships, many of which are used with high risk factors. atmospheric emission. Each ship record, containing gross tonnage, type of ship, time of arrival, berthing and berth, where the ship berth was used to characterize each ship as a temporary point source in the corresponding berthing and berthing zone, and as a line line during the maneuver period (when the ship moves from the waiting area to an attraction area). To calculate the variations, use EEA calculation methods as well as the emission factors characterized by type of ship, type of fuel engine, navigation phase. They were calculated as NOx, SOx and Ni tests generated by transport ships using the Gaussian model AERMOD, using meteorological, relief data and as calculation rates calculated based on the 2015 data. The domain used was 30 x 30 km , centered at 368028 m S, 7753624 mW. The waiting stage of the ships is where the longest times have been recorded (average time of 41.68 h), being the ships of the Bulk Solid type or which have the longest waiting time (160.48 h). As the calculated totals were: NOx (100,607.88 ton./year), SOx (483.99 ton. / year) and Ni (22.15 ton./year). In all phases, bulk vessels suffer greater participation in them. As for simulations, NOx demonstrates simulations that exceed the quality standards of local and national average hourly average concentrations. Although a station has not registered a higher value than the standards, the exceeded values can be simulated and can indicate a strong influence of the ships in the NOx regions in the region
