- ItemPráticas integrativas e complementares no contexto da UFES : uma situação possível? Uma pesquisa de opinião com os servidores(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2017-03-13) França, Luciana Rosa; Oliveira, Marilene Olivier Ferreira de; Fernandes, Simone da Costa; Provedel, AttilioThis research aimed to verify the interest of the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) employees in integrative and complementary practices (PICs) and alternative therapies, as well as the possibility of implementing such modalities for the members of the university. Regarding the typology of the research, the descriptive and bibliographic forms were used. Under the qualitative bias, the bibliographic research on the subject was carried out and the semi-structured interview with the Pro-Rector of the Extension Pro-rectory (Proex) was carried out, through which it was possible to identify the interest in projects with the characteristics of search. There was also a quantitative approach, with the use of a questionnaire elaborated in the Google Docs platform, whose return composed the sample of teachers and administrative technicians, which served as basis for the calculation of statistics, especially Fisher's Exact Test. After the analysis, the results allowed us to say that there is an interest of the servants in therapies, especially in practices such as meditation, yoga, reiki and others. Regarding the possibility of implementation of the practices, it was noticed that extensive projects have good receptivity in Proex, as a starting point to develop actions that have this purpose for the servers. At the end, suggestions were presented for two projects implemented in other federal institutions and that could be references to managers responsible for policies that promote well-being and quality of life for UFES's servers
