- ItemA estratégia discursiva da rotulação : léxico, argumentação e textualidade(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2011-02-18) Alves Junior, Mário Acrisio; Olímpio, Hilda de Oliveira; Lins, Maria da Penha Pereira; Elias, Vanda Maria da SilvaThis research aims to investigate the behavior of labels in texts belonging to genre of the jornalistic/media field, based on a social-interactional and discursive conception of language, and being guided by the widespread idea that the labelling process acts from the textual level to the level of enunciation through its multi-funcionality: it operates the organization of the textual and discoursive surface, besides being na important semantic-argumentative tool. Thus, this study focuses on recurring topics in research about labelling, as well as about other issues that should be better discussed, such as the relationship between labelling and typological sequences. Moreover, the analysis also addresses the role of enunciative modalization demonstrated by the employment of labels in texts. Labels, thus not only organize the text, but carry information about the textual contents and opinions of the speaker about certain topics, standing frequently in sentenses such comment. Throughout the text, these comments appear making the link between textual units of more complex statute which are classified by Bronckart as types of discourse.
- ItemAs rosas no jardim de Zula : um estudo dos imaginários sociodiscursivos femininos no teatro documentário(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2018-03-05) Chaves, Mariana Pinter; Alves Junior, Mário Acrisio; Almeida, Júlia Maria Costa de; Ferraz, Daniel de Mello; Lysardo-Dias, DyliaThe main aim of this research is to analyze the enunciative dimension of the contemporary documental scene with focus on the scenic individual’s discourse through a transdisciplinary approach based on the Semiolinguistic Theory, on the Social Genre Studies and on studies of Documentary Theatre. Specifically, our intention was to research which imaginary socio-discursive feminine pervade the spectacle The Roses in Zula’s Garden and in what way the linguageer configuration elabores them. By proposing a study which takes into account the socio-communicative dimension of the theatrical discourse, we utilized a theory result of a link between semiolinguistic concepts proposed by Charaudeau (2001; 2005; 2007; 2008; 2014; 2016) and by Cordeiro (2005) and Machado (2015; 2016a; 2016b). Furthermore, we utilize theories of Sarti (2004), Brah (2006) and Safiotti (2011), in order to reflect about the Social Genre and Feminism as well as contributions by Boal (2009; 2011), Rancière (2012), Mendes (2012) and Giordano (2014), among others as regards the Theatrical Studies. Hypothetically we consider it is probable that the situation of theatrical-documental communication would act as a report area of imagination socially crystallized about the female individuals and, therefore, the resistance to the social inequalities suffered by them. Moreover, we find it possible that the input of the life narrative of ordinary individuals in the contemporary scene would work such as a strategy to attract spectators and that they would arise as reality put into the scene. For this purpose, we proceeded to a descriptive and a qualitative methodology which provided the scenic-contractual delineation, the identification and interpretation of the socio-discursive in discursive organizations prevalent in this act of language. The results of the analysis led us to disagree the hypothesis about the use of reality on the scenic sphere, because, despite being historical documents, they are at the service of the dramaturgic construction of the play, so, they do not breach with the fictional statute of the Scenic Art communication contract. However, attempting to better understand the emerging subjectivities at the contemporary theatrical context, we were, unexpectedly, led to purpose the use of syntagmas character-actor and spect-actoremancipated to the subjective instances that use the reality effects on stage, including life narratives. On the other hand, we validated the hypothesis that the discourses of those theatrical female individuals produce socio-discursive imaginaries able to criticize and question the current genre domination in our machist-patriarchal society.

Paulo genres about the attack to Charlie Hebdo, aiming to understand the social representations constituted, at the Brazilian media, about the islamic religious group performed. The corpus has 15 news, 02 profiles, 01 report, 01 article, 01 hybrid genre, 02 interviews, 01 depoiment, and 01 headline, totalizing 24 texts of different genres, published in the months of January to March of 2015, and it raises the polarized relations between Western and Eastern and debates and positioning about the attack and the controversial. According to the systematization of categories to the triad cognition-society-discourse and of social representation, the structures of journalistic discourse will be analyzed, intending if the polarization between Western and Eastern takes place and if there is power abuse.
- ItemOs dois lados de um muro : um estudo dos comentários das manifestações de 2016(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2018-08-30) Souza, Anna Maria Martins; Alves Junior, Mário Acrisio; Tomazi, Micheline Mattedi; Lima, Fábio Luiz Malini de; Oliveira, Roberto Perobelli deThe impeachment process of the former president Dilma Rousseff is included in a controversial Brazilian political scenario. One of the most divergent moments of opinion for the population was the construction of a retaining wall in front of the Esplanada dos Ministérios building in Brasília. This framework has made concrete the pre-existing division of society. This sociopolitical context became a subject in personal and virtual debates, in which Facebook served as a forum for the dissemination of opinions. Given this scenario, this research seeks to analyze the discursive manifestations carried out by groups pro and against the former President Dilma Rousseff, amid comments published in a post on the O Globo newspaper's Facebook page. For this, we adopted a methodology of qualitative analysis, aiming at a sampling criterion, which we present some comments that reveal a recurring strategy in the others. We aim to discuss the linguistic strategies that promote positive self-presentation of the intragroup and negative presentation of the exogroup. In this paper we will use, as theoretical contribution, the van Dijk's sociocognitive approach (1999a; 2011a; 2012a; 2012c; 2012c; 2014; 2016), in order to deepen our reflections and analysis of the corpus, discussing the strategy of discursive polarization. In addition, we adopted the reflections on the notions of Facebook postulated by Malini (2013, 2016), Castells (2004, 2014) and Barton & Lee (2015), Lima (2015), to better understand the support used in our research. The results show that the argumentative constructions used by the actors reinforce the polarization, preventing the promotion of constructive debate about the reasons that lead the groups to oppose each other. Thus, the commentators express the discursive polarization, being concerned mainly with the positive placement of the intragroup, while aiming to disqualify the exogroup.
