- ItemA assistência farmacêutica e o seu processo de reorientação no município de Vitória/ES : avanços e desafios(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2013-03-26) Simões, Fabiane Lima; Figueiredo, Túlio Alberto Martins de; 1º membro da bancaVitória, Capital of Espírito Santo State, is a reference to other municipalities regarding the process of reorientation of Pharmaceutical Assistance. It is concerning this object - the Pharmaceutical Assistance and its local reorientation – that this study was conducted with municipal administrators and Pharmaceutical Assistance managers between 1998 and 2012. Thus, the aim of this study, which included the participation of three administrators and three managers, was to analyze on a Socio-Historical perspective, the institutionalization of Pharmaceutical Assistance in the county and its subsequent reorientation process. As devices of material production it was used documental observation, interviews and research diary. During field work, the starting point was the documentary observation and the empirical study was conducted through semi-structured interviews followed by notes in the research diary. The survey analysis was made in light of Institutional Analysis in the perspective of Savoye and the report was of cartographic inspiration. The study showed that the city of Vitoria is avant-garde in the process of organizing the Pharmaceutical Assistance in Brazil, complying with the minimum guidelines of that process, keeping updated its List of Essential Medicines and, while in most Brazilian cities, the pharmacist is a professional of municipal and even regional reference, in our context this professional is present in almost all services - primary health care, referral centers, emergency rooms, health surveillance – which involve all the municipal healthcare system. As a challenge, the study pointed out that, despite the level of excellence in attending the guidelines of National Drug Policy, the physical structure of pharmacies that compose the services and continuing education, compromise the full implementation of pharmaceutical care to the users of the Unified Health System. For the administrators and managers interviewed, except for the political changes during the study period, a convergence of favorable factors - organizational restructuring of the Municipal Health Office in Vitória, local standards in Pharmaceutical Assistance, computerization of services and the acquisition of new pharmaceuticals through contests over the perio - made possible the anticipation of the national model of reorientation of Pharmaceutical Assistance so that when the Implementation of the National Drug Policy in 1998 came up, the municipality had already complied four o the eight guidelines contained in that policy. Therefore, the process of institutionalization of Pharmaceutical Care in Vitoria was ruled by a collective effort of the involved ones - administrators and managers – who have incorporated in their daily work, a wish to turn it a reality.
- ItemA gestão do trabalho na Estratégia Saúde da Família : o governo de si e do outro sob a ótica do gestor(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2016-09-02) Galavote, Heletícia Scabelo; Lima, Rita de Cássia Duarte; 1º membro da bancaThe process of healthcare work management in the scenario of the Family Health Strategy is highlighted as an analytical intention founded on the concepts proposed by Foucault about the apparatuses of power and the techniques for the care of self and others as the foundtion of a political power exercise. The analysis unity transits between the space of macro-politics and that of the micro-politics of the management of work in healthcare, which permeated the teritory of imanence between what is taken as the norm and re-normalization. The objective it to analize the management of work in the Family Health Strategy in the state of Espirito Santo, starting from the discourse of the managers, as well as identifying the pratices involved by the managers in the constitution of the government of self and others. This is a descriptive and exploratory study, with a qualitative approach. To achieve this objectives, managers from 36 municipalities of the state of Espirito Santo were invited to participate: the Municipal Health Secretary; the Municipal Coordinator for the Family Health Strategy; and the Municipal Coordinator for Primary Health Care. A semi-structured interview and participant observation were used for the collection of data. The discourse analysis was the basis for data analysis, and the cartography was used as a complementary method of research. There are elements in the discourse that are highlighted for signaling to a practice of management through discipline and control over the workers, through the attainement of results, founded in mandatory acts and in the normalization of the work, which is called prescribed, dead, amputating the autonomy and creativity of the worker. For the managers, to innovate means to mobilize the workers based on a political centralization that warrants for the manager the final decision and the definition of the directions, once the teams have little governability relating to the definition of goals and indicators. The managers produce self practices, but are inprisoned by the normalizations of the healthcare organiztion itself through the marks that are inscribed on their bodies and that determine a healthcare manager with serialized discourses and actions. They are stultus managers, since they don't exercize the self care as freedom, and bare a subordinate will, which is not free
- ItemAdaptação transcultural do instrumento "tool to estimate patient's costs" para estimar os custos do tratamento da tuberculose aos pacientes em municípios prioritários do Brasil(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2016-10-08) Nunes, Gabriela Ferreira; Maciel, Ethel Leonor Nóia; 1º membro da bancaTuberculosis is historically associated with poverty, being a serious public health problem with deep social roots. The disease contributes to the patient's impoverishment and their families, generating costs due to treatment of the disease, which are classified into direct and indirect. This study aims to adapt culturally the Tool to Estimate Patients Costs instrument for the Portuguese of Brazil, used to estimate TB treatment costs for patients in three priority counties in Brazil. Study type Cost of illness by using a sample of 77 patients with closed questionnaire and pre-established by World Health Organization. The instrument showed a Cronbach's alpha above 0.71 in its translated version, and some modifications were necessary to create an instrument adapted to Brazil in a synthesized version, due to questions that do not apply to the reality of the tuberculosis treatment in Brazil. It is recommended to use the synthetic version of the questionnaire as a standard adapted to Brazil, so that this data can be part of the national health statistics according to their particularities in order to minimize the economic impact and the impoverishment caused by the disease to the patients and their families.
- ItemAdesão medicamentosa e fatores associados em idosos de um ambulatório filantrópico do Espírito Santo(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2013-05-08) Arruda, Daiane Campos Juvêncio de; Morelato, Renato Lírio; Oliveira, Elizabete Regina Araújo de; 1º membro da bancaThe incorrect use of medications, underuse, the irrational use or not use the total prescribed medication, are forms of non-adherence to medication. The prevalence ranges from 40 to 60% in the general population and can not be seen as an isolated phenomenon. Should evaluate the individual characteristics, the sociodemographic, health conditions and the use of drugs of the subject. The lifestyle and sociodemographic conditions may be associated with medication nonadherence due regard to the health of the individual. The aim of this study was to estimate the prevalence and factors associated with medication non-adherence in the elderly. Descriptive study, analytical, through interviews using a script prepared, organized and divided into blocks according to sociodemographic variables, health status, lifestyle and medications taken. To verify the non pharmacological treatment we used the instrument Adherence Measure Therapeutics. The sample consisted of 270 individuals aged 60 years or older with cardiovascular disease and who underwent outpatient treatment at the Hospital Santa Casa de Misericordia de Vitoria. Descriptive statistics, tests of association by chisquare, prevalence ratios and 95% confidence. Multivariate analysis was performed for multiple Poisson regression. Of the 263 respondents selected for the study, 26.7% reported not adhering to drug treatment. The findings of this research indicate that the lack of employment of the occupation earlier, the presence of cognitive decline and poor diet are associated with medication non-adherence in this population. Thus, the mental state, behavior of healthy living and better socioeconomic conditions may be factors in medication adherence in elderly outpatients.
- ItemAlterações no perfil proteico do ventrículo esquerdo de ratos após tratamento com óleo de soja: um estudo proteômico(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2014-10-03) Soprani, Taisla; Figueiredo, Suely Gomes de; 1º membro da bancaSeveral studies show that consumption of vegetable oils, such as soybean oil, rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) has beneficial health effects by preventing or reducing the risk factors of cardiovascular diseases. While the demonstration of the beneficial effects of the consumption of unsaturated fatty acids on the cardiovascular system has been proven in macroscopic level, the molecular/cellular mechanisms responsible for this phenomenon are poorly understood. In this work a comparative proteomic approach, two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2D) coupled to mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF / TOF) was applied to investigate the rats heart proteome differences (left ventricle - LV) that not received (control group - CT) and received 0.1mL of soybean oil intramuscularly for 15 days (treated group - TR). Soybean oil treatment induced improvement in left ventricular function, and a significant change in LV proteome in the TR animals. The TR animals present a lower value of LVEDP. The protein profile of VE revealed differences in the expression of 60 protein spots (p<0.05) between CT and TR groups, 14 of these were identified by MS and MS / MS, being 12 non-redundant proteins. Robust changes were detected in proteins involved in muscular contraction, structural and antioxidant system. The TR group presented an increase in intensity of proteins involved in muscle contraction (myosin light chain 3-(3-MCL), creatine kinase M (CKM)) and tireodoxina antioxidant enzyme. Low intensity cytoskeletal protein, desmin, was detected. The differences in the intensity levels of these spots-related proteins in TR group, might be linked to improvement in left ventricular function.

- ItemAnálise comparativa de aços ARBL usados na fabricação de tubos flexíveis para produção de petróleo no mar, em formações com baixo teor de H2S : um estudo de FPH utilizando solução de tiossulfato de sódio(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2006-06-02) Girelli, Rosental Alves; Scandian, Cherlio; Macêdo, Marcelo Camargo Severo de; 1º membro da bancaThis document is an experimental study of the Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC) and Hydrogen Embrittlement (HE) behavior of a Brazilian high-strength low-alloy steel, in media with low content of H2S. It is intended to begin a qualification process of the material, which is already used in flexible pipes for petroleum production operations at the sea in situations where there is no H2S presence, to also act in cases where low concentration of this gas exists. A heat treatment is proposed for the resistance improvement of the material in these environments. The base for experimental results comparison was another material, a French one, which is already qualified and used in flexible pipes for sour oil (with H2S) production. Hence, three materials were tested: the original Brazilian one, without heat treatment (it is used in flexible pipes, in situations without H2S), the same material with the heat treatment suggested for the property improvement and possible use in low H2S environments and the French one (qualified material used in flexible pipes for oil production operations, in situations where the presence of H2S is a reality). The SCC Slow Strain Rate and Constant Strain techniques were used as the experimental tests and the media was an aqueous solution of NaCl with micro addictions of sodium thiosulfate (Na2S2O3), indicated to simulate corrosive environments with low concentration of H2S. Damage parameters (energy), embrittlement measurements, tensile properties and also fracture features of the specimens were evaluated at the comparative analysis of the materials.
- ItemAnálise da precisão e da aplicabilidade do consumo de oxigênio de reserva durante o exercício aeróbio contínuo nas intensidades de 50% a 80% do consumo máximo de oxigênio(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2007-03-27) Santos, Miguel Angelo Alves dos; Orientador1; https://orcid.org/; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; 1º membro da bancaThe main objective of this study was to evaluate the accuracy and the applicability of oxygen consumption reserve (VO2R) in the prescription of continuous aerobic exercise for the maximal oxygen consumption (VO2max) intensities of 50%, 60%, 70%, and 80%. Following ergoespirometry, the physical training speeds corresponding to 50%, 60%, 70%, and 80% VO2R were calculated using the equation proposed by ACSM for running and walking in 60 volunteers – 30 males and 30 females – aged 23 ± 3.4 and 21.7 ± 4.1 respectively. After the calculations were done, the volunteers performed continuous aerobic exercise (running or walking) for 30 minutes in a random sequence of the said intensities with intervals of 48 hours between them. During the exercise performance, oxygen consumption was collected. The VO2 consumption collected during the aerobic exercise was called measured oxygen consumption reserve (VO2Rm) for the purpose of comparing VO2R calculations with VO2 consumption at the same exercise intensity. The criteria used for determining the equation accuracy were the following: a) Student’s t test; b) evaluation of the correlation coefficient; c) analysis of estimate standard error of the inclination of the straight line of linear regression. The level of significance used was p< 0.05. Data demonstrated that VO2R and VO2Rm were similar in all intensities. However, the VO2R median values were always higher at each intensity studied than those of VO2Rm (3.4%, 4.2%, 9.2%, and 2.2% in the male group and 9.9%, 3.3%, 7.7%, and 9.7 % in the female group). There was no significant difference between the heart rate measured in the blood lactate (BL) and the heart rate at 70% of HRmaxE and 70% of HRmaxM. The heart rate values prescribed indirectly 85% of HRmaxE and 85% of HRmaxM underestimate the heart rate in the RCP by approximately 6.5% (male group) and 9.1% (female group). The VO2 values prescribed indirectly overestimate by approximately 36.7% (male group) and 66.3% (female group) when VO2 at 60% of the estimated oxygen maximal consumption (VO2maxE) is used and by 18% when VO2 at 60% of VO2maxM is used compared to VO2 values in BL, both groups. There was no significant difference between VO2 in RCP and VO2 at 80% of VO2maxM; however, VO2 in RCP was approximately 9.2% higher in the male group and 6.5% lower in the female group. We came to the conclusion that the oxygen consumption reserve equation demonstrates a good correlation with the VO2 consumed during continuous aerobic exercise; however, the said equation tends to overestimate the aerobic exercise intensity mainly in individuals with poor physical condition. Moreover, the use of both VO2maxE and HRmaxE overestimates the values found, which may predispose to a premature metabolic acidosis, and, as a result of that, cause an overload to the cardio-vascular system. The results suggest that adequate prescriptions of intensities for aerobic exercising are more efficient and safer when determined by ergoespirometry.
- ItemAnálise espacial dos casos notificados de sífilis em gestantes e sífilis congênita no Estado do Espírito Santo(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2017-05-03) Soares, Karllian Kerlen Simonelli; Prado, Thiago do Nascimento; Miranda, Angélica Espinosa; 1º membro da bancaThe syphilis is considered a public health problem, because in addition to increasing incidence rates it also has deleterious effects on the fetus when it occurs in pregnancy women. Perform a spatial analyses is great benefit, because is ideal tool for evaluate the distribution and identify areas with higher concentration of cases. This study has objective of the analyze the spatial distribution of the cases in syphilis in pregnancy and congenital syphilis in the state of Espírito Santo in the period from 2011 to 2015. It’s about in ecological study with spatial analyses of cases of syphilis notified in notification of injury information system using the software STATA 13 and Terra View 4.2.0. In study were included all reported cases syphilis in pregnancy and congenital syphilis. On both maps is possible to observe a main cluster in the metropolitan area and north of the state. Numerous municipalities with high rate the detection of the syphilis in pregnant woman in some municipalities and may indicate that carrying out the notification of cases. However many municipalities did not present any rate of detection of syphilis in pregnant women suggesting underreporting the cases. In the many municipalities there is a low detection rate of syphilis in pregnant woman but high rates of congenital syphilis evidencing underreporting. The study evidenced priority areas in acting and municipalities in the high risk of disease. It is necessary also training and education in health of this population and health professionals.
- ItemAproveitamento de resíduos para produção de lipases fúngicas via fermentação em estado sólido(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2018-02-27) Teodoro, Arthur Fagundes dos Santos; Rodrigues, Celson; Cassini, Servio Tulio Alves; 1º membro da bancaLipases are enzymes responsible for the catalysis of reactions from a wide variety of industrial processes. Solid fermentation appears as an alternative for the production of enzymes due to the low cost and possibility of using residues of low value and with great abundance, besides requiring a smaller amount of energy in comparison to the submerged fermentation. This work had as objective to produce lipases by the fungi Penicillim sp. and Rhizomucor sp. by solid fermentation using sugar cane bagasse and coconut fiber. Initially, preliminary tests were carried out to test the use of a nutrient solution. After the tests, the enzyme production was optimized through an experimental design 33, where the influence of the inducer concentration (soybean oil) was studied in 2.5%, 5% and 10%, at a temperature of 27 ° C, 30 ° C and 33 ° C, and 40%, 60% and 80% field retention capacity for each medium and fungus. With the use of sugarcane bagasse as a support medium, Penicillium sp presented the highest lipase activity (147,5 U/g) at 30°C temperature, 60% field capacity and 5% of the inductor, with the Inductor Concentration and Temperature with significant influence on the results. Rhizomucor sp had the highest lipase activity (161,3 U/g) under the same conditions mentioned above and with the same significant influence on the results. For coconut fiber, Penicillium sp presented the highest lipase activity (75 U/g) under conditions of 30 ° C temperature, 60% humidity and 10% of the inductor, with field capacity, concentration of the inductor and temperature with significant influence on results. Rhizomucor sp had the highest lipase activity (78,9 U/g) under the same conditions mentioned above and with the same influence in the results.

- ItemAs práticas esportivas na orla de Vitória-ES : um estudo entre praticantes de futevôlei e futebol(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2015-08-27) Gaspar, Vinicius Nogueira; Almeida, Felipe Quintão de; 1º membro da bancaFrom within two groups of sports practices at Vitória’s beachfront - one of foot volleyball and another of soccer - this paper aims to discuss this sport which is so present in our daily lives. The groups were observed through an ethnographic approach in order to understand the characteristics of the surveyed practices and also to analyze them based on the studies that dealt with the subject and /or reached similar paths to this investigation. Based on the fields and interviews’ description notebooks, it was possible to demonstrate how these groups are organized, their strategy maintenance over time and the relationships between the sport practiced by them and the sport in its institutionalized form. These observations served as the basis to answer the main question of the study: Is it possible to think of sport as something with definite characteristics? It was identified that, if we assume the definitions exposed in some studies, many of the groups’ characteristics from this research will be excluded. Thus it confirms the considerations proposed by other studies that present the sporting universe with increasingly diverse features and assorted possibilities of singular appropriations.
- ItemAssociação entre consumo de antioxidantes e risco de doenças coronarianas em participantes do ELSA-Brasil(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2014-01-01) Teixeira, Marina Galvão; Mill, José Geraldo; Molina, Maria del Carmem Bisi; 1º membro da bancaLow plasma antioxidant concentrations are associated with endothelial dysfunction, the first step towards atherosclerosis. Some antioxidant compounds, presents in some food kind, are capable to minimize those disturbances and are associated with the reduction of cardiovascular risk. We aimed to identify the association between the intake of antioxidant nutrients and the risk of acute coronary disease in ten years in the participants of the Longitudinal Study of Adult Health – ELSA Brazil. 14,353 participants aged of 35-74 years, which are employees of six public universities, were studied. The estimated intake of antioxidant nutrients (Vitamins A, E and C, zinc and selenium) was obtained through a food frequency questionnaire (FFQ), adjusted for total energy and categorized into quintiles. The coronary risk (CR) was calculated using the following variables: sex, age, systolic blood pressure, smoking, antihypertensive therapy, HDL-cholesterol and total cholesterol. Participants were classified into risk categories (low, intermediate and high). Analysis of simple and multivariate regressions were performed to assess the relationship between the consumption of antioxidants, CR and the influence of other variables (education and BMI). It was observed that 71 % participants were at low risk, 7 % in intermediate risk and 22 % at high CR. Female participants, those with higher income, education and age, had higher estimated intake of antioxidants. Positive and statistically significant associations between intake of antioxidants and high CR were observed. Individuals with intermediate risk had the lowest intake of antioxidants. Education level was positively associated with consumption of antioxidants (p < 0.001) and CR (p < 0.001). After adjustment for body mass index and education, low antioxidant intake remained associated with the intermediate CR (OR = 1.74. 95 % CI 1.37 to 2.21). Positive relationship between CR and intake of antioxidant nutrients may be associated with a change in eating habits after a cardiovascular event or due to some recent medical diagnosis.

- ItemAvaliação do cenário de compra e venda de resíduos sólidos recicláveis nos Municípios do CONDOESTE/ES(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2016-04-19) Dutra, Renato Meira de Sousa; Felipe, Ednilson Silva; Siman, Renato Ribeiro; 1º membro da bancaIn spite of the recycling is a viable alternative to minimize the impacts caused by the production of municipal solid waste, for its empowerment it becomes necessary to identify the recycling market, with projections of production's supply and demand to define strategies, resources and reliable local conditions. Thefore, this study had as goal to evaluate the current and future buying and selling of recyclable solid waste in 16 cities of state of Espírito Santo. The research identified through the application of interviews (Surveys), fieldresearch and secondary data collection that while relying on poor infrastructure and dependence on Government subsidies, the 12 surveyed pickers organizations can forward 9.1% of recyclable waste from selective collection to recycle with an average productivity of screening of 109 kg/picker/day with an average payment of R $ 945.00/picker/month. From the methodology proposed by Damásio (2010a, 2010b), 17% of organizations surveyed were classified as medium efficiency, as opposed to 82% of them operating with very low efficiency. For the adequacy and expansion of screening capacity of scavengers organizations (infrastructure and equipment), to a scenario of 100% selective collection in the cities surveyed, would be required investments of 16.5 million reais, which could be paid by the savings from the current 6 million reais spent per year with the disposal of recyclable waste to landfill. This investment also allows the creation of 467 new jobs, representing growth of 402% for the insertion of pickers in theformal the employment market. Regarding the consumer market, few recycling companies have been identified in the region, which may justify the low price paid for the waste. The market for recyclable Espírito Santo is formed mostly by micro and small enterprises, which generally cary out the activities of collection, transportation, screening and marketing of waste.About supplier market, the industry, followed by pickers organizations and junky yard, and in fourth place individual pickers, were the typicalsources of recyclable identified in Espírito Santo.

The quality of care provided is also compromised, due to fatigue and decreased empathy when interacting with patients. Signs of Burnout have been observed among nephrology nursing staff, with effects on the health of the worker and the work environment. Objective: To identify the determinants of Burnout Syndrome and Compassion Fatigue, to describe Burnout and Compassion Fatigue in nursing workers, to analyze the perception of nursing workers in relation to Burnout and Compassion Fatigue, and to build an educational technology for coping with Burnout and Compassion Fatigue for nursing workers. Method: Applied research, with technological production, carried out with nursing workers from the nephrology service of a university hospital in the southeast. The research was carried out in four stages: 1) Literature review; 2) Quantitative data collection; 3) Qualitative data collection; 4) Technology development. Results: The integrative literature review includes work overload, lack of institutional support and continuous contact with situations of suffering as the main determinants for the development of Burnout and Compassion Fatigue among nursing workers in the nephrology sector. These factors were corroborated by the study's findings. In the quantitative analysis, 47% of the participants showed high levels of stress and 53% showed signs of Burnout; in addition, 65% reported symptoms of Compassion Fatigue, and the majority of those affected were women, 70%. In the qualitative analysis, the following categories emerged: emotional and work overload, lack of professional recognition and lack of psychological support. Product: Chatbot-type educational technology, with an artificial intelligence interface and self-management, in which the virtual secretary can identify workers' demands regarding Burnout Syndrome and Compassion Fatigue, presenting personalized strategies based on user interactions. Final considerations: This study revealed an overview of the information collected in the assessments of Burnout Syndrome and Compassion Fatigue among nursing workers in the Nephrology Unit. Using quantitative and qualitative methods, it was possible to measure the severity of these conditions using psychometric scales and to explore the professionals' subjective perceptions. The quantitative analysis revealed high levels of stress and emotional exhaustion, while the qualitative analysis highlighted categories such as emotional overload, lack of professional recognition and absence of psychological support. Based on these findings, educational technology was developed in the form of a chatbot, designed to help professionals self-manage Burnout and Compassion Fatigue, responding to the specific needs of workers
- ItemCaracterização gravimétrica e comercial dos resíduos sólidos urbanos recolhidos em Postos de Entrega Voluntaria do sistema de Coleta Seletiva da Prefeitura Municipal de Vitória-ES(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2001-12-13) Laignier, Irene Thomé Rabello; Braga, Florindo dos Santos; 1º membro da bancaThis work aimed to characterize the dry and solid urban waste comercialized by Usina de Lixo de Vitória – ES composed of Voluntary Delivery Offices (Postos de Entrega Voluntária - PEV), implemented by the city of Vitória, capital of Espírito Santo. Fieldwork was developed along with the practical techniques of collect, transportation and a process of selection for later recovery used by the existent system, under tecno-scientific criteria. From the analysis of the results it is concluded that the waste from the PEVs of selective collect had in its composition 38% paper, 19% glass, 13%, plastic and 8% ferrousand non-ferrous metals and 22% discards and the utilization index of the recycle materials taken in the PEVs was about 77%. The acts of vandalism against PEVs are not very significative. Laterly was stimated the number of users that utilize the system of selective collect to dispose the recycle materials that they own produce. Finally was established a relationship between the locations of these collectors and their own filling in level. Because it is the first avaliation of this kind of collect, in the state of ES, hopefully that the results taken, come to contribute for a management and planning in case of expansion of the selective collect in Vitória or even in the implementation of this kind of collect in the other cities.
