- ItemCultivo ex situ de propágulos de Rhizophora mangle L. em diferentes concentrações salinas(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2015-04-10) Amorim, Kamyla da Silva Pereira; Gontijo, Andréia Barcelos Passos Lima; Fernandes, Adriano Alves; Tognella, Mônica Maria Pereira; Soares, Mário Luiz Gomes; Falqueto, Antelmo RalphExperiments were conducted to determine the influence of different salt concentrations (0, 50, 250 and 500 mM NaCl), in developing seedlings of Rhizophora mangle L. species of Guaxindiba’s mangrove in the city of Conceição da Barra, Espírito Santo, Brazil. The experiment was conducted under a photoperiod of 12 hours and 25 ° C in germinating chamber and in randomized blocks, block 1 (unshaded), block 2 (shaded) and block 3 (double shaded). In previous stage of the insertion NaCl, seedling grown in shaded blocks (blocks 2 and 3) had an initial weight increase (IPI) significantly higher than the seedlings grown in the unshaded block. After the salt insertion the factor block became secondary, and salt became the determining factor for the development of seedlings. The final weight increase (IPF) was significantly higher with 50 mM NaCl, intermediate on treatment with 250 mM and lower in treatment with 500 mM NaCl. Production of dry biomass of roots and shoots was significant different in the interaction of treatments x blocks, dry biomass hypocotyl showed no significant difference between treatments, blocks and interaction treatments x blocks. We conclude that the shading and salinity (0 to 500 mM) influence the early development of seedlings R. mangle.
