- PublicaçãoTrajetórias formativas e produção intelectual do "movimento renovador" na educação física brasileira (1982-2022): ou "pra não dizer que não falei das flores..."(Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, 2026) Retz, Renato Pereira Coimbra; Ferreira Neto, Amarílio; Carneiro, Felipe Ferreira Barros; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2966-6768; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7101280549259108; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3624-4352; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0813381772579489This thesis aims to understand and analyze the educational trajectory and intellectual production of the members of the Coletivo de Autores (1992), who are regarded as the most prominent representatives of the self-proclaimed renewal movement in Brazilian Physical Education. In this sense, the study seeks to understand the continuities and discontinuities established in relation to the ideas initially presented in the book Metodologia do Ensino da Educação Física and how these ideas were developed throughout the academic and professional trajectories of its members over 40 years of activity within the sociocultural and pedagogical subfield of Brazilian Physical Education. Adopting a quantitative-qualitative approach, the research establishes a dialogue between historiographical perspectives and concepts (Ginzburg, 1989; Bloch, 2001; Sirinelli, 2003) and bibliometric studies (Santos & Kobashi, 2005; Hayashi, 2013). The sources used include the two editions of the book Metodologia do Ensino da Educação Física (Coletivo de Autores, 1992; Castellani Filho, 2009) and the Lattes curricula of the four most prominent intellectuals composing the collective: Celi Nelza Zulke Taffarel, Valter Bracht, Lino Castellani Filho, and Carmen Lúcia Soares. Chapter I, of an introductory nature, presents the context and motivations for the investigation of the research object, the theoretical and methodological foundations guiding the analyses, and the organizational structure of the study. Chapter II develops a critical documentary analysis (Bloch, 2001) of the two editions of Metodologia do Ensino da Educação Física, aiming to identify the clues and traces (Ginzburg, 1989) that make it possible to understand the motivations that enabled the members of the Coletivo de Autores (1992) to unite around the publication of the book. The following four chapters analyze, respectively, the intellectual production of Celi Neuza Zulke Taffarel, Valter Bracht, Lino Castellani Filho, and Carmen Lúcia Soares. These analyses are based on the following bibliometric indicators: (1) publications by document type; (2) temporal distribution of publications; (3) authorship and co-authorship relations; (4) reference literature; and (5) themes addressed in the publications. The results confirmed the thesis hypothesis, since, despite some dispersed experiences — especially those related to the production of Celi Taffarel — there was no effective development of a methodology itself. Instead, the task of presenting pedagogical experiences based on the initial writings of the Coletivo de Autores (1992) remained with the academic community, as has occurred throughout more than 30 years since the publication of the work.
